It was about students protesting the return to the dark ages (1998) with the sex ed curriculum. The students had written some very catchy chants. Because of my sight, I couldn't really tell what the building looked like, as the school building was slated to be demolished and replaced by the school, a community centre, and a licensed day care. But, still … yay!
In other non-news, church-John and I got our wires crossed. I was expecting him around 4 to deliver his suitcase, my supplements, and to take me out to a bank machine and a late lunch. But he'd texted consecutively, so all I saw was the "4", but missed the "can't do lunch because I have a haircut at". So he showed up early, knocking at the back door. Very strange. But he did drive me to a bank machine close by. And I've suggested we do lunch next week - as he'd promised once our mutual church friend is away on vacay (he left after midnight on Sunday), we could do that. Hey, c-J, a promise is a promise!
After he dropped me off at home, I watched lots of recorded TV as well as my game shows. Aww, the 7 day champ was defeated by someone from LA (though Alex called him a Canadian). I have to watch the All-Star team draft on FB Live tomorrow at 1 (when I get home from special church).
Luckily, we didn't really get a huge storm. It was hot (again) with very high winds (lots of old trees came crashing down in my old ritzy hood), but no severe rain … until a lot later. But it's not as bad as near the nation's capital where a tornado touched down late afternoon. As it'll be cool tomorrow, I'll be wearing socks and closed-toe shoes. And because I have to go to sleep, I'd better post and dash. Nighty-night, all.
