Seven words that basically defined my day. Naturally, it didn't help that I woke up around 5:30. Hear me growl in outer space. But I got up and tended to my blind group duties before we had our two hour meeting at 10:00. I'm quite impressed by the level of dedication to putting on a major expo (next February), even though I know I can only offer virtual assistance on the computer and no physical volunteering. I may not even stay for the fun dinner at the end. Sigh.

In the afternoon, I started catching up on TV, watching a fascinating Murdoch Mysteries where Julia is now aiming to become a surgeon, Frankie Drake Mysteries that put me to sleep, and a compelling Bull about a woman who executed the rapist killer of her 11-year old daughter in broad daylight; there was a mistrial and the DA withdrew the charges.

Conveyed my desperate wishes for a new monitor to Brian and he obliged by sending me the top industry picks. I chose a glorious 27-inch one and he'll be ordering it for me, even without the benefit of a sale. But, with this one glowing and dimming irrationally, I need a replacement STAT. ::crosses fingers::

Other than that, I had trouble keeping my eyes open and kept dozing off during FDM. I really wanted a nap, but my phone wouldn't accept my "set alarm" command, while my voice-activated clock was still not working. Sigh. So I struggled to stay awake this long, mostly by reading. But, now, it's time for pills and bed. So grateful.
