Mind you, down is EXTREME cold and I'm fed up with it. ::shakes fist at universe:: Do. You. Hear. Me? I'm. Pissed. Off. At. Winter.
Sigh. OTOH, I have lots and lots and lots of yummy food. And I have to admit that I'm so the opposite of a locavore, as I have raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries - things that remind me of summer. And a bottle of raspberry lemonade that I polished off. And four bottles of iced coffee (yes, I know, even in stupid winter). But, oh, the down side. The vendor changed their packing policy again, removing cartons altogether and using semi-opaque plastic bags (which drive me crazy anyway because of the plastic waste), preventing me from telling at a glance what's in them. So, unpacking torture that drove me eventually to bed. And a muscle relaxant.
When I felt a bit better, I caught up on TV (my Canadian shows) and watched tonight's Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon (where Shelly was being obnoxious), and a touching The Orville. I love how important classical music still is in the future. In this case, there was a travelling Union orchestra (I'll bet the musicians were the ones who create the soundtrack) as well as a piano recital by Claire's son. But the nostalgic ending was pure Hollywood. I think Seth is showing his soft (not crude) side.
So, my printer problem has been solved by a hail from our volunteering coordinator. I'll send her an email and she'll print the lists for her volunteers. Whew. We are a great bunch!
I'd tried valiantly to finish rereading the February book but it expired today. I was about half through. So, I'm on a waiting list again.
