But it should have been because there was a pile of slushy snow on the ground when I woke up. ::growls:: Seriously, world? Illiterate much! And, naturally, my walker was out in the garden so I had to stomp out through the glop to get to my minivan this morning. Ugh.

I was still happy to be at church despite the ridiculous precip. The music was fabulous, including a pre-service medley that was like a madcap weather report. Plus today we heard all about buffalo representing respect. Ash reminded us we'd been mama bears. And I remembered beavers. So perhaps we're meant to identify with a different animal each week??? Church-John brought me my precious chocolate which made me happy. As I'd had a horrible night (it took forever to fall asleep; I had to keep refreshing my rainfall on the sound machine), I'd taken a Frappuccino to church, needing the perky power of its coffee and chocolate. Did it work? A little.

When I got home, I worked on my summary. Or, as I now call them, my church "chronicles"! I finished before 7 and then I could relax. I'd been listening to the nature music channel. Tried to watch last night's SNL but my sight has been horrid today (white font on a snowy background), so the TV wasn't much better. Sigh. Dozed off for a tiny bit though I still hope to read for a little while. Yay for Monday and nothing to do.
