Oh, yeah. It was so bad, you'd think it was deliberate. Right now, staring at the screen makes the letters look slightly Arabic, slightly Old Norse, and occasionally Anglo-Saxon; oh, crammed embroidery, as well. Blech.
Just as well I didn't have much time to devote to being on the computer. I slept in, then occupied myself by getting ready to go out after 4:30. Even though it was very warm out and sunny (what a shocker), it was very windy. So I wore my coat, just in case. My driver dropped me off at the downtown pub at 5:06. I'm SO early. But, there was already somebody there, somebody who hadn't RSVP'd me. Uh-oh. So, the food wasn't bad. I had ginormous deep-fried mushrooms as well as a chicken souvlaki wrap and Caesar salad. My drinks were a pathetic Manhattan (so weak) and a glass of wine. I ended up talking the most to the buy next to me. I'd never met him before, but he's at the top of the alphabet because his first name starts with double A. Anyway, it was nice to be out of hibernation mode.
I was picked up after 8. It was a strange ride home as I had no idea where I was and the light was fading. But I got home just as SuM was getting ready to turn the lights on, but she'd heard the beeping minivan. Watcjed some TV including tonight's Jeopardy! which James nearly lost tonight, but he managed to pull out a win. Now I need to give my spine a rest. I was badly jostled on my ride downtown though the music was good (my fave radio station playing familiar Brahms from an old Ingrid Bergman/Yves Montant/Anthony Hopkins film. Oh, the memories....
