Life with cats. Also stupid heatwave.

So Missy Ce-Ce made herself quite comfy - ON MY HEAD - and went to sleep. Somehow, I also managed to sleep. It was adequate. I spent most of the day on my own, feeding the cats brekkie and lunch but keeping them out of my space. I kept galloping through the stupid mystery book (involving a stupid soap opera, sleazy people, also written by a Brit who couldn't be bothered to get American idioms right). Oh … and the spelling/grammar errors. Sigh.

Finally got around to watching the church's Pride Day service. It was held offsite and the recording quality was so horrid. I also couldn't engage fullscreen, so I had a hard time telling who our guest soloists were. I hope church-John brings me a program tomorrow. It was a fairly upbeat service but also reminding people of increasing hate crimes and exhorting everyone of the intersectionality of advocacy of behalf of more than one's own sliver of the rainbow.

Watched my game show repeats in the evening and had a glass of white wine with … wieners? Yes, I am strange, but I couldn't be bothered to make more for dinner as it's been a very hot and humid day. Anyway, I'm going to finish the book, wash my face, and try to persuade the cat to go to sleep. Um … somewhere other than my head!
