Yes, you may laugh. [I'll wait.] But these guys turned out to be pussycats. I didn't have to move the shelving unit or even remove one item from it. They worked delicately around it as they rewired things. They'd even covered up my bed with a sheet of plastic. And I continued to eavesdrop on their conversations.
On the minus side, my cellphone alarm did not wake me up even with a full charge. Luckily, I did get up in time to wash my face, do eyedrops, have brekkie and brush my teeth. Hey, that's not bad given a short time. I'm recharging it again. But, just in case, S. will knock on my door if she doesn't hear me walking about.
The guys mentioned they'd be doing a couple of awkward spots tomorrow (including behind the fridge and in the closet as well as possibly fixing a really tricky light. So I decided to see if church-John and I could get together tomorrow. He agreed. So, when I wake up, I'll have brekkie, get dressed, turn off my computer, ttake my iPad into SuM's living room and read my library books until c-J turns up around 12:30-1:00. Today, SuM and S. celebrated their anniversary by going to the Aquarium where S. basically just blissed out in the middle of the shark tunnel. Yeah, she really liked it.
In the evening, I watched the usual TV including tonight's MasterChef. I also emailed Ash to see if she can order three old movies for me (well, when I say "old", I mean 1973, 1977, and 1980)! After that I did a titch of cleaning; apparently the smell of Lysol wipes (or was it the vigorous arm movement) improved my visual colour perception. I swear, I do not understand my body!
Anyway, I think it's time to pack my spices. Busy, busy, busy....
