For everyone else, it was Saturday; I had Dorkday!

Oh, wow, did I ever overwhelm S. with questions. First of all, I thought the washing machine was breaking down. I felt something rubbery along the back side. Uh … it was my turtleneck sweater! Which was still wet, so I threw it in the dryer.

She also found the on/off switch on the monitor. But it is so freaking fiddly, I know I'll never get it, so am forgetting about that problem.

I also showed her the difficulty I had accessing the premiere epi of The Rookie this year (it involves cookies, I believe). I asked if she could call it up on her laptop. She did, so I'll be able to watch it on Wednesday when she links it to their TV screen. Major yay.

I also finally finished the Pot Granny book. There were some close calls, but she didn't get caught. However, the author had some very naïve misconceptions about Canadians and Americans. I'll be sure to mention it at book club.

So, what else did I do? I lay in bed and watched Peppa Pig. But, wait. What about the church services hanging over my head? Well, I was in just so much pain during the day that I removed the pressure of that burden off me. I'll write about them when I'm having a good day.

Anyway, I've got to find my shoes for church tomorrow, so I'd better sign off. Oh, yes, and swallow my pain pills. Nighty-night.
