So, the night started out relatively well, as Ce-Ce was slow to settle down - and I kept worrying she was going to jump up onto the table and knock down my black swan queen snow globe, or bring down my twirled ribbon, or do mischief in any of my many nooks and crannies. But we both finally slept. Until I was so rudely awakened in the middle of the night with searing pain. Okay, time to get out of bed, pour myself some lemonade and swallow a couple of Robax. With the spread of heat across my back, I returned to bed and fell asleep. Didn't wake up until 8:30.
Kept the cats out of my space after feeding them brekkie and lunch ane even dinner. Had an early nap before feeding them lunch. Read for a little bit. Actually watched one of the still-to-be-done church webcasts and had the shell of a story revolving around the feeling of warmth. I started it, but just couldn't finish it, not with the psychic slashes of pain reverberating through my torso. So I joined the cats in SuM's living room and watched my game show repeats. Listened to skirmishes from World War Cat. That was the other reason I decided not to allow Ce-Ce to sleep with me. With her around, the other two wouldn't get into a hissing match.
Just hoping for pain-free sleep and a tolerable day tomorrow. If I could twist my head far enough, I'd glare at my spine!
