Gee, for others it was just Monday.

The first one didn't feel like a miracle at the time, when searing pain woke me up at the so-not-good time of 3 AM. Arrgghh. So I took two Robax and managed to fall asleep, not waking up until nearly 9. But, then, the miracle. I was so busy with blind group stuff at my computer that the only pain I had was in my right knee from the cold. Otherwise, not a twinge or twitch. And you wonder why I'm confused???

The second miracle? I didn't blow up. No, I don't mean personally (probably from the pills). But I had leftover cans of tonic water from two different suppliers. The cans had begun to bulge out at the top, indicating that the gas was building up. I didn't know how I might try to open them or whether I even should. But I took a chance, gingerly used the tab and the can opened without a whoosh or any other SFX. That's a relief!

The third miracle? I won't have to rely solely on my fireplace for heat as S. said she'll go shopping for a new heater for me tomorrow afternoon. I. Can't. Wait.

So, I had a pretty good day. With the job I'm doing for the Exec, it's really sweet to be on the receiving end of emails where people are thinking of me, hoping I'm well (or at least better), and really happy that I'm at the other end. Aww, shucks.

I was so happy to have new shows to watch tonight. Murdoch Mysteries was creepy as William and Julia visited Kingston Prison. And Bull was reaffirming with an unusual King Solomon-like proposition.

Okay, let me add a fourth miracle. I just had a couple swallows of ice-cold tonic water and my vision has improved dramatically! So I guess I should read a bit, too.
