It's been a roller coaster of the last 24 hours, some good, but way too many bad.
The first was a cathartic cry from finishing the long fic. The funny thing is that I still had to do my eyedrops. Do you have any idea of how difficult it is to add eyedrops to overflowing eyes? But, then, I had an excellent sleep, not waking up until around 9:18.
Then there was extreme longing as I indulged in reading FB. One of my church friends boasted about waking up extra early to get to the bakery where he scored the last loaf of freshly baked rye bread with caraway seeds. ::moans:: Fresh. Rye. Bread.
After brekkie, I had to hunker down at my desk to do some editing of my Contacts for the blind group. I didn't finish until after 3 PM - which is ridiculous. And my spine was in knots. Sigh. So I needed a long rest before I sent out the special email which created way too many responses. Ack. I'm too weary to create a new list. The only pleasant surprise was a stealth visit from Ce-Ce who stuck her nose in several bags, including my chocolate supply. Luckily, no chocolate was harmed in the encounter, LoL.
So, apparently, the pain had been only a preview for the rest of the evening, even with Robax. I watched the news and then suffered as the hours dragged on. I'm going to stay up reading again. Maybe the combination of chocolate, pills, and a good distraction will do the trick again. ::crosses fingers::
