It as a perfect day to be whisked away by church-John. He delivered my apothecary necessities, took me to the bank machine, and then we went to one of our fave haunts nearby. The restaurant had built a patio extending into their parking lot, with a light covering above and open to the air. I was very happy we were sitting next to the entrance to the building itself, so we got the breeze but not the hot sun.
AFAIC, it's never too late to sillybrate my b-day, so that's what we did. I brought most of my lunch home (so not a surprise), but loved the two luscious raspberry vodka cocktails and a scoop of French vanilla ice cream for dessert.
After that, it was home and off to bed - a bookend to my morning. But, wait, there was more excitement. Look an envelope from the Attorney General. Yup - jury duty. I'll have to ask S. o read it all to me tomorrow and fill out my reason for … declining.
Watched most of my usual TV shows and have gulped my midnight pills. I'll bet you can hear my sigh of relief! The only downer to my day was that thing that presumes to masquerade as my vision. Today was a snow day - a veritable blizzard. Booooooo.
