Mind you, even though this is usually our first long warm (if not hot) weekend of the coming summer, it was nowhere near warm. At least it wasn't raining. I wasn't prepared for what was waiting for me at church (other than church-John who is getting over a huge cold). So … a stunning service. Continuing in the series based on this year's Best Picture Oscar nominees, this week Rev. Jeff examined "Bohemian Rhapsody". As should come as no surprise, I haven't seen it. Sigh.

But, apart from the clip (that I couldn't see), we had loads of glorious Queen music sung by our totally fierce and energetic female soloist. It was also so unexpected to have the traditional foot-stomping to "We Will, We Will Rock You"! I hope the ancient pews survive the vibrations. I managed to ask c-J whether he'd like to accompany me on the blind group trip to Stratford to see "Private Lives". Yup, he would.

When I got home, I was feeling a little dizzy. I'd slept last night, but I still felt the wobbliness of lack of sleep the night before. I'd already decided I was going to leave the review until tomorrow. But I still watched the webcast because my sight was being fabulous and I didn't want to squander it. I'll still probably listen to the music again tomorrow.

After I was done and relieving my screaming right knee, I went to bed and decided to watch last night's season-ending SNL Oh, what a lovely coincidence: more Queen music! Now, I'm still staring at a clear monitor. I'd like to stay awake, but I'm a tired pumpkin. Maybe just a tiny titch of reading?
