Well, it's no wonder. After a very frustrating morning (waiting for my meals to be delivered between 10:30 and 1:00, finally giving up at 1:15), I would have welcomed the opportunity to drown my aggravation. But, alas, that was not to be. Not only was I picked up late and arrived more than 30 minutes after my requested time, I only had time to order one drink (Creemore lager with lime cordial) and a bowl of healthy raw tuna, quinoa, arugula, lots of other stuff, and an Asian dressing). It was too much to eat quickly, so I brought more than half home. We had lots of people at pub night but, as we were seated in groups of 4, the tables went a long way, as I joked right into the next time zone. So I didn't get a chance to talk to a few people.

It was a long drive back under darkening skies from the West end back to the East. When I got in, I was happy to see that SuM and S. had returned home. Yay, I'm released from cat-motherhood. I also found out that the mischief-maker who slept with me every night had fished out some chicken bones from my organics pail. Luckily, there were no medical emergencies. And now I know what those phantom scrabbling sounds were last night. Oy.

Okay, time to wash my face, pour myself some water, and watch a titch of TV. I still have aggravation to leech away.
