There were no lights, no camera, no nothing. I'd accidentally woken up at 4:33 (not nice) and spent hours rereading my humorous book. After 10, I began to get ready. Just a bit of powder on my face, my usual clear lipshine, and I fluffed up my 8-month old haircut with a pick. Not … bad. But I couldn't find my wonderful Japanese fan to take out onto the covered porch at 11, to wait for the delivery of my meals and the publicity shots.
Oh, I got my meals all right, but the photog didn't show. Why not? When the meals admin called, she said the photog was disappointed? upset? that it was a different volunteer delivery. ::rolls eyes:: Oh, please spare me the drama! So, we are tentatively rescheduling for Friday morning when I will pretend to receive meals. Sigh.
After that, I was all hot and sticky. Yuck. I continued to read for hours. SuM and S. asked if I wanted to join them fore a trip to DQ. Originally, I was in favour, but then the thought of going out in the heat to try to gobble a dribbling dessert did not appeal. And pain was creeping up on me because I was late taking my 4 PM dose.
Watched a bit of my usual shows and then finished the book in the evening. Okay, almost time for my evening pills and then bed. ::crosses fingers::
