So, why might you laugh about the blonde?

Well, so far (and the day's nearly done), Linux did NOT make the blonde cry bitter tears of frustration. Imagine that. I'd call it miraculous, but will settle for naming it progress. Yes, yes, I still have to memorize where things I can't see are, and have mostly done so. I found my files without taking too many wrong turns. And I even watched the penultimate episode of S3 Glee, despite the crappy sound (that was valiantly trying to burst forth through the auxiliary speakers).

Other than that, I managed to sleep in (yay), made five comments on Quarantine (enjoyed myself thoroughly) and had an almost two-hour nap. As it was nice out, I even aired out the room in the afternoon. And John filled my piggie bowl in the kitchen with organic apples which are yummy. So I guess I should think about heading to bed. The only wrinkle: Liblikas seems to be exhibiting bi-coastal behaviour. She observes eastern DST which switches over to UTC (after midnight?) before reverting to DST (after noon?). I'll try to be more observant closer to midnight. Um ... just how can a computer do something like this? Yes, blonde is confuzzled, though NOT crying. So let's leave things on a mostly positive note. Nighty-night, all!
