Well, John hasn't been by yet. I know he was going to dinner, but could he have ::gasps:: forgotten about me???
Anyway, I had the usual boring and painful day. It was one reason why I didn't return my friend's call from yesterday while Brian was here. I just couldn't face trying to talk to him and be pleasant while my face was screaming at me. It's one thing to be able to be open and honest and downright grumpy with the people who are the closest to me, but not with people I'm just getting to know.
I had my groceries delivered, so I'm all set to do my first baking on Sunday. Yaaay.
I watched the second to last (and last regular) episode of Royal Canadian Air Farce. The last epi will be their New Year's Eve Special. Waaaah. They started on radio 35 years ago (and I do remember them and the actor who did Pierre Trudeau's voice eerily well) and moved to TV 15 years ago. And now it's all coming to an end. Their writers must have been running on coffee and stims yesterday because the show was taped last night and had lots to do with the shenanigans in Ottawa.
Brian gave me a call. He's picking me up between 10 and 10:30 tomorrow for the club's Christmas party. And then we'll probably do dinner and a movie. So I must look up possible movies.
Anyway, I'm yawning, so I'm going to toddle off.
