Yes, I managed to write both of my stories due today in
lgbtfest. Nearly 8,000 words. But, oh, I am tired. I'm sitting here, eating Cinnamon Danish cookies that I haven't had in a couple of decades. Wow - they've improved them.
It feels odd. I'm so tired from writing fic, that I don't have the energy to write about my day. Well, John called. He'd left work early to go shopping for pansies. And I'm invited over for alfresco dinner on his balcony tomorrow. Later on, my newest sis, RS, sent me an e-mail about the concert she attended at church last evening and also to let me know that Soloist is now in the theatres. We must go. Soon.
Luckily I didn't have to cook, as I had the leftover pasta from last night. It was yummy, even cold.
Anyway, I'm giving myself a pat on the back (the very sore back, dontcha know) for meeting my obligation and deadline with 90 minutes to spare. And an extra pat for expressing my creativity. Which always makes me happy.
So, I'll just send everybody happy vibes (with not a soggy potato in sight, either)!

Fifteen hours?
Sheesh, talk about buckling down to meet a deadline. At least I seem to have grasped the concept of linking (and getting in all those quotation marks).
And, now, I'm seriously considering entering a writing competition at my university's alumni association. Eeeek!
