Yes, I finally got out the door today, after a perfectly boring shower. My shower stuff is very good (apparently it has yogurt and aloe in it) but it is sooooo boring. Ah well. At least it was cheap.

I went to the bank, then the drugstore to get calcium/magnesium and transit tokens. Then I threw caution to the wind and went to the supermarket. Two huge bags full of good stuff like coffee yogurt and fondue mix and tropical juice. Then I went down to the lake. It was a coolish day and I wore my winter coat; but I had to unbutton it because of the sun beating down my back. So I sat out listening to the soft lapping of the waves against the rocks. As I sat, I talked to my angels, asking for intervention. But I also showed gratitude. By the time I'd finished my silent reflection, there were tears sliding down my cheeks. Okay, time to walk the length of the boardwalk/bridge. I saw two swans out. And no other birds at all. Odd.

And then I came back home. RS said she'd call at 6:30 to hear my Giggly Ballerina Piggly LJ entry about my operation. So I performed it for her. We were on the phone for 80 minutes!!! It's no wonder I'm getting hoarse. We still have to find a movie theatre to go to. Oh, well, there's always next week.

The evening has flown by. Huh - it was boring. And, as usual, my eye is being demanding. Can I wag my finger in the mirror and tell it to Cut. It. Out?

I did 5 reps of 25 arm exercises, trying out different positions. Anyway, that should help me avoid pain located in just one place.

Okay, so now I'm even boring myself. I'll just mosey over to my friends' page and entertain myself until bedtime.

The swans do sound beautiful, though. Are they mute swans, do you know, or the noisy yellow-beaked kind?

Mute? Ha, not bloody likely.

I get a chorus of honks and whatever else you could name the sounds emanating from the swans, geese and ducks that populate this part of the shoreline (shown in my icon) in front of my building.

But that's okay, because I love the aural reminder.
