It's a time-clock sort of day. I punched in waaaaay too early (4:30 a.m. when I woke up all hot and un-breathing). Then I stayed up until 7 (when I had to call in and change my rides for tomorrow). Well, I think I lasted until 8 or 9 and then crawled back to bed, thoroughly cold ('cuz I'd taken off my velour top to cool off). Okay, body, please make up your mind. Hot. Cold. Hot. What????? Sigh. The body doesn't even know what it wants. At least I got a few more hours of sleep. So I woke up to what: the pleasure of wanting to melon-ball my eye out. So not a good day.

When John called, I said I hadn't been out. But, then, neither had he. The summer's day we'd been promised (promised, I tell you) never materialized. And it seemed to turn quite dark very early. So I didn't know if we were going to get rained on.

The only good thing about today was that I worked more on my McDex. Which isn't going to have any sex in it. Hey - I'm intrigued, myself. Though the companion piece will.

Anyway, I'm about to crawl back into bed after taking a totally ineffectual painkiller. And I was too lazy to choose something pretty to wear to church, so I guess I'll be scrambling tomorrow morning. And having a debate on boots vs sandals (everything else hurts my toes). Nighty-night all and a Happy Easter in advance!

Oh, yes. Sounds so very familiar! It's 80 degrees here, and yet, I am wearing fleecy bedroom shoes. And short sleeves. *shrugs*

Hope you had sweet dreams and have a wonderful Easter service. :o)

Hee - you can have your own North Pole/South Pole/Equator, all in one body. Even though you'd rather decline, in a tasteful way. Oy. I can sympathize.

Anyway, thank you for the wishes for sweet dreams (though no dreams ASAICR, though I wouldn't mind Radek taking me sightseeing again, lol). And Easter service was its usually magnificent self (if an Easter service can have an identity).
