Well, actually I am, but I'm obeying Brian's directive that all of my oochies and ouchies MUST be expressed as Christmas carols. And, even though 'tis not the season, I can't find any other music that works as well.
So, on behalf of my spine, I shriek OOOOOOUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCHHHHHHH!
Okay, now that that's out of the way, I can talk about my day, what there was of it. I finally sent an e-mail to the bookseller who phoned me late afternoon. We arranged that he would pay me a visit next Wednesday to see my books. Then John called. I asked him to drop by after work. When he did, we had a bit of a chat. I demonstrated how I was planning to set up my bedroom and did he think I could put my bed on wheels. Oh, great. Now I have to find wheels. I've asked him to be my backup when the bookseller drops in. But - wah - I forgot to give him his share of Brian's brownies.
After that, I did nothing. Well, okay, I had dinner which, in this case, was meatballs and the dregs of two more jars (a couple of queen stuffed olives and a half-dozen gherkins), also the last of the gouda and a glass of wine. Lunch had been the leftover salad from last night's dinner. And, right now, I'm devouring the contents of my loot bag along with a glass of ginger ale. So, if you'll forgive me, I'm going back to munching on candy, to be topped off with the healthy ingredient - a tangerine. Maybe an epi of N.C.I.S. And, then, bed. Oh, yes, please.
Perhaps I'll continue talking with Little Bear Pig (which I did - out loud - this afternoon). She's so funny. She thought I was so wise. I hated to tell her otherwise. Yes, yes. I know I missed my calling as a children's storyteller. I missed my calling in lots of places. But, you know, it's a little late to pout about that. So, nighty-night, all.
