Today was a weird day. Okay, weirder than usual. [Note I did NOT say "normal".]
I slept for 9-1/2 hours. Wow. Did that mean I had catching up to do? Or was it a protective measure for a really, really, really old body? 'Cuz, today, it wasn't an act. I was in So. Much. Pain. Go ahead, ask me how ludicrous it was to see me chopping an onion, when I had trouble holding the onion with the left hand and forcing the blade with the right hand. And, then, I was so tired out from that wee bit of kitchen activity (I was making tabbouleh with my signature, optional onion), that I had to have a nap. 2 hours and 20 minutes. When the alarm went off at 11 p.m., I did not obey it. When I finally did open my eyes, another 26 minutes had gone POOF.
But I'm up now. I've just chopped two tomatoes (slightly less ouchily than the onion) and dished out a large portion of this healthy, yummy salad. I have no idea how late I'll stay up. There's no TV to watch, so I suppose I'll read. And, then, take mostly-useless painkillers for my back (which I hadn't mentioned until now, had I). Okay, all together now: ARRGGHHHHHHHHH!
Rx required: application of many, many piggies. Le sigh.
