What a surprise NOT!
Anyway, I was on duty at church and that made me very happy. Also no surprise. BD and I shared a ride home. And, then (yes), sleeeeeeeeep. Even more important than food.
I didn't have to get up early on Monday, as my doctor's appointment wasn't until 6 (though I was being picked up at 4:25). So I had a 45 minute sit-down outside the building. When I was seen, she gave me the requisitions for the zillion x-rays, etc., also wrote out scripts for all the meds I'd run out of (including a severely depressed thyroid). And, then, I had tons of time to waste until my return ride (scheduled for 7:45). Luckily, while I was fishing in my purse, my chosen sis RS called. I thanked her for being a constructive time-waster for me. After we chatted for about 20 minutes, I made my way down to ground level. And - what else - went to sit outside. There was a security guard who kept coming by to chat. Oh, I know ... I'm such a security threat, lol.
My driver showed up and, because of road closures (not sure whether it was because of G20 protesters), ended up taking the Lakeshore route. But that still got me home around the time indicated. When I came upstairs, I corralled John to grab a couple of crystal goblets, my Hypnotiq, then we walked over to our fave rocks that were framed by huge bushes of roses (I believe John called the species robusta). We stayed for a bit, then made out way home. And more blessed sleep for me. Well, until the pain woke me up. Ack.
I managed a bit more sleep this morning until the thunderstorm hit. So it's been cold and damp all day. I had a titch of a nap and am considering having lunch-supper and then vegging some more. No energy for a movie last night, so I may indulge tonight. Aaaaaand that's a sleepy wrapup of a couple of days.
