Well, at least I got 4 ::coughs conspicuously:: continuous hours of sleep this time. Woo-hoo! And that was with NeoCitran.

Oh, well, I'm up for the count. [Can one say that? Is the reverse an idiomatic expression, too? EDIT: After I pressed POST, I figured out why it can't be, because the expression is from boxing, aka one guy gets knocked down to the mat and is ... ahem ... down for the count. So I'll have to think of something that is applicable to MOI, but I think I'll wait until my brain has been fed.]

So, I'm going to play on this puter and try to remember what Brian mentioned last night (when I was too far gone to stagger back into the living room to plug into the search engine) ... because, right now, I can only remember the first letter of the first word and it is H. ::rattles brain in head:: Oh, great. /again with the sarcasm. I think I'd better e-mail Brian, because this was a part of my homework from last night.

Gotta go. Talk later. Yadda, heat-driven insomnia, yadda.

Actually boxing also has a standing count, for when someone is knocked silly but doesn't fall down. So, technically, being up for the count would pretty much mean the same as being down for the count.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down???

Truthfully, I despise boxing and the resulting physical damage but I had to laugh at what you wrote ("knocked silly"). Anyway, NOW I've learned something new.

I'm not a fan of boxing either, but I AM an amazing fount of useless trivia.

Mmmmm. I, too, have a certain fondness for useless trivia (and I still wonder WHY I get headaches?). I just remembered ... when I had two final exams on a single day in high school, I would have lunch at my friend's house during which time we'd watch Jeopardy instead of trying to cram.
