... or mutual adoration squee?

I have a complimenting thingy going on with the sax player who is 159 ways of awesome. So I told her yesterday that she rocked the place (as she does every time she's there). And she came back with congratulations on my speech which means she pays attention to the one-minute celebration. [I guess it's a really good thing that I speak clearly, distinctly and loudly, huh?]

Anyway, then she said it appears that there are a whole bunch of really nice things happening in my life and reminded me of my feeling of accomplishment when I finished (and announced) my bigbang last year.

But it's just so gratifying to give compliments and receive genuine ones as well. Okay, it's a squee-for-all ... um, a squee-pallooza???

Yes, of course I'm silly. And I consider THAT to be a gift as well!!!

You know, you are pretty wonderful! I enjoy your posts, even though I don't comment on them as often as I should. They always bring a smile. Especially the red comforter and the Christmas lights! :o)

::sends you beautiful icon in return::

Oh, you're so sweet. But, you know, I really do take my purpose in life seriously - to make people smile and laugh. Which is why I adopt that kind of folksy reporting style in my journal. And, at the very least, I do amuse myself.

And, yes, my tree is lit and I'm leaning against the red comforter. Just wait until I get the energy to clear away more stuff so that I can turn the recliner around and bask in front of my fireplace (which I can't turn on because the leather chair back is right against it).

Loads of extra-happy {{{{{hugs}}}}} !!!!!
