Oh, what a marvellous night I had. Sliding into bed after 1, I didn't know what to expect. I opened my eyes momentarily after 8, but then burrowed deeper into my decadently soft cocoon. The next thing I know, it's 12:24 p.m. Wow! I still can't believe I slept that long without aid of medication or alcohol. I'm also thrilled that I appear to be contradicting the biological trend of old people sleeping less. I wonder if merely looking out the window while washing dishes IS the significant factor. OTOH, I always wonder if changes in barometric pressure have anything to do with it, too. Even though we didn't get real snow last night which is a guarantedd sleep-inducer for me, there was a lot of rain (along with that bit of thunder). [But it was scary reading about 90 tornados happening in the US yesterday.]
My brekkie was kind of my lunch. Yes, it was my traditional Bangers'n'mash. After that, I was busy catching up on SLOG where there were all these political shenanigans happening in Washington State yesterday and then today.
For entertainment, I decided to zoom ahead to this coming Friday's SGA rewatch. So I watched No Man's Land twice, the second time for the audio commentary (and wrote some notes). That took up a chunk of my time, too.
I didn't really bother having dinner, just ate 4 apples and a muffin. I'll probably have a titch of chocolate and then call it a night.
Oh, if you're here to check up on me, better look for a pod under the bed. I went into my closet and emerged with a black and gold patterned sweater. It's so soft. I'll wear it with my black/gold mesh scarf and black beret. But, yay, I have my outfit all picked out. I had to find a long-sleeved sweater because the temperature will have dropped and there may be the S-word on the way. As I hope to do a tiny bit of grocery shopping on the way home, I just want to be protected.

Glad you got some sleep and you seem to be doing well! I know I don't check in with you as often as I should. /badfriend

As for the said Bangers, etc., I'd never had them before in my life until I started getting meals delivered. Well ... what with my Polish background, how on earth would I even know about Bangers.
