Ugh. I hate the cold. And weird bodily reactions such as sweating and freezing during the night. ::sighs:: At least I had my traditional Steak'n'mushroom pie brekkie.
Then back to dealing with the cold. Church was pretty good. Brent preached about the holy union of body and spirit and how other faiths seem to have grasped the idea far better than Christianity. Ya think? We had a fabulous male guest soloist as well as a cellist who accompanied. And I was on duty, even though I was feeling a bit wobbly.
After church, there was an impromptu meeting of the Holy Rollers outside, waiting for our rides. Talk about major discomfort just to be sociable. My ride arrived around 12:35 and, even though I'd originally intended to do a tiny bit of pharmacy and supermarket shopping, I decided NOT to subject myself to the misery of being cold simply for the pleasure of havingfresh muffins uh ... I meant cough lozenges. So the driver drove me directly home.
I had a bit to eat and then face-planted for my requisite 2.5+ hours. I'm just tired and cranky because of the stupid weather. Since I've been up, I've read through most of SGA's Season 3's episode transcripts. Yes, I'm that bored. I know I need to go to sleep soon, as I'll have to wake up early to book my rides tomorrow. The online system starts at 5 a.m., so I'm wondering how miserable I want to make myself ... in order to assure myself of a ride. Oh, well. I have a few minutes to make that decision. Until domani, ciao tutti.
