And I'm just the most gleeful camper ever. Yaaaaaaaaay! Well, Brian and I had a good evening - once he FINALLY arrived (shortly after 6). First he drove me to the drugstore to pick up my eyedrops. Thankfully, he went in; otherwise, it would have taken me ONE hour to walk in and another to return to the car, only a few steps away. Then he drove to Canadian Tire. He was looking for automotive lamps, and I needed Wet-Ones (for my Sunday cleaning of the anointing oil pots). Yay, again. I got two because they were cheap. When we got back to the car, we had our indoor picnic, while the rain was streaming down the windshield. Brian had made special tuna sammidges on onion buns, with gherkins, chipotle mustard, mayo and arugula. Of course, they were terrific (even though I kept spilling bits of food down my boobs). Hey, it's not easy eating in a car.
When he drove to the next store (still looking for lights), I stayed in the car as I'd learned WHERE to get APPS for my phone. Yes, be very afraid. I found the three magnifying ones (all free, yay again) and installed them, All. By. Myself. Then I had to try them out. OMG, OMG, OMG. One of them works the same way a portable CCTV does (not coincidentally, just about the same size as my phone). That unit costs 700 out-of-this-world-certainly-not-in-my-wallet dollars ... but I got it FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! After that definite expression of squee, Brian drove me home. It was 7:55 when we arrived, so we'd done a lot in a short time.
Earlier in the day, I'd finally caught this week's epi (#10) of The Glee Project via streaming on the TO cable network that airs the show. Ack. It was so frustrating, as the screen size in the small mode was wider than my screen (!?!?!) and the full screen was a weird widescreen, though it did FIT. I was not thrilled with the decision (nor the acting). Oh, well, it's just an unreality TV show. Next up the finale and it'll be finally over.
I finally began reading this year's entries in
mcshep_match. Holy Hannah, so many amazing stories. So many words, so little time (or ... er space). Msybe I'll devote Saturday to reading them all. In any case, my day is nearly over, so I think I'll go play with my APPS some more. APPy nighty-night, all!
