... derailed by the need for lots more sleep as well as fear of the cold. Ugh.
So I woke up after 5 (did not like) but stayed up, playing on the computer until 8:20 when I had to crawl back into bed, setting the alarm for 10:00. When it went off, I was very slow getting up, but had to be presentable for my meal delivery. Which was so worth getting up for. Today's menu had a chicken leg, roast potatoes and three types of veggies. Plus the usual extras. I spent some time sending e-mails. Brian sent me a holiday message that appeared on my phone but not on my computer. And, then, the video refused to play on my phone. ::scratches head:: I received a reply from the Christmas Eve coordinator. Oh, good. My seats have been reserved. I sent my guest the relevant info so I hope we won't get lost in the "tunnel".
After giving up any intention of going outside, I crawled back into bed and had a two-hour nap. And had a strange dream. I also received a call from one of the vision loss group leaders, reminding me of next week's meeting and party. Besides having fun, we'll be hosting a guest from the library system. Ooh - now I have to locate where the nearest library is to take advantage of whatever's available.
I'm a little gloomy because, though today was cold, tomorrow will be even colder. But I've got shopping I need to do (not to forget the medication) and I'm running out of time. Arrgghh. Stupid weather ruins EVERYTHING.
