It looks like a cross between a light sabre (just needs a loop on the handle) or a kinky sex toy. Yes, yes, only I could find something so unique and want it. But its light function is incredible. So I'm a happy camper.
I'm also not a stuck-in-the-snow camper. Well, this morning, I was despairing when I kept reading people's accounts of snow falling. Ugh. Not only cold but snowing on top. That's not sprinkles and a cherry. That's ... disgusting. Anyway, I finally got to watch the totally warped Christmas epi of Glee. Uh ... was Ryan on crack when he created this? And is it not getting old to see all these Jewish characters going gaga over Christmas? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he's still being ironic. It's the only explanation that can forgive a whole lot of stupidity. Because ... yeah.
In the afternoon, M announced she had to drive out of town, so was going to rent a car. In order to get the maximum benefit, she planned to go shopping and asked if I'd like to join her. Would I! So we set out before 4:30 on a very fluffily snowy day. Just walking in the driveway felt like wading through water. Luckily there were fewer cars on the road (and people in the stores). We did both Costco and No Frills. Costco was where I splurged on the neat flashlight. Well, I spent a lot of money between the two stores, but I have gorgeous smoked salmon, coloured peppers, clementines, pickles, rounds of brie, rye bread, gala apples, vine tomatoes, 'nanas, grapes, smoked oysters, fruitcake, mini cinnamon rolls ... and more than I can remember. That shopping extravaganza cut down on my necessities 90%. I still need stuff (and meds), so will have to go out. Whether it's tomorrow is debatable because the drifts were even worse coming home. We got back around 8:30, totally exhausted. But, still, foooooood!!!!! Not only for regular eating but also entertaining. Ooh, I'm so excited to have people over.
Brian and I exchanged texts earlier as he was on his way to the club meeting and holiday party. Poor guy. When he got home, the power was off but he posted on FB using his phone. I hope it's back on and he snuggling in front of the fireplace.
Anyway, I should get going. Church (and wading to the bus) awaits. At least I've already laid out my outfit (and hope it's warm enough) and jewellery. Because I'll be on camera! Okay, enough vanity talk. I need to think about bed. Soon.

Oh, it is indeed. I checked on the back for identifying info: The brand is "Snap-on" and it's manufactured exclusively for Costco. I don't know whether you're in North America but, if you are in the U.S., you can probably find it there also (I can't see Costco Canada having it but not south of the border). Best value for twenty bucks IMO.
And it only takes 4 AA batteries (comes with), though I'll be using my rechargeable ones in the future. Win-win.

Sadly I'm not in the USA, but thank you for looking. I may have to see if I can sweet-talk anyone into looking at Costco for me! I poked the website but it didn't seem to want to play!
