Perhaps not the brightest idea in the book, but at least sitting in my heat-suffused chair helped my back. After I'd finished foofing around on the computer (at 4 a.m.), I began working on my Pentecost proposal for the church. So the hours just sped by. At that point, it didn't make sense to try to sleep for around 90 minutes until my meal was delivered. Which I sorely needed as it was another grotesquely bitterly cold day. No matter that it was sunny. Deceitful source of light. But, oh, the meal was delightful, featuring two drumsticks and flavourful rice. Yummmmm.

I started fading in the mid afternoon, so scheduled a nap while wrapped up in extra clothes to ward off how brittle my body felt. In the evening, I enjoyed watching Jeopardy which featured a champion from the 90s who was blind. Though there was a concession to him with the ringing of bell when the answer was revealed fully, I still think he was at a disadvantage as the other two players could READ the answer faster than the words were spoken. Hmmm. Though he had the highest score before Final Jeopardy, he ended up in second place because of an incautious wager. Not only did I not get the right question, neither did any of the contestants. American Presidents for the NOT win.

MasterChef Canada aired a more ethical episode this week without having contestants throwing each other under the bus. Well ... not so obviously. And The Blacklist was kinda sorta creepy. But intriguing, too. I also have a new show recommended by church friends. It's Elementary which airs on Thursday, otherwise an empty entertainment zone.

Okay, now that I've reported in, I'm going back to polishing my proposal. Yay me and having a new personal life goal!
