It was a depressing day. First of all, there was the S-word. Yes, S-N-O-W. Ugh-ugh-ugh. And rapidly falling temps. Just the thing to make me an unhappy camper. And, then, there was the lethargy and helplessness where I just couldn't get my brain to function at all. Because I was feeling hopeless. Again. So no e-mails or anything else productive.
And, then, I dozed off in the afternoon, but woke up well in time for my evening shows. Time to say bye-bye, Arthur. Hee - I even got one of the Canadian history questions right (Pontiac, for the record). And I think Alex jinxed him by mentioning the 300K mark just waiting to be reached.
I rewatched this week's Glee. Meh. It was just to waste some time. I was also pleased to see that I had received an e-mail from my rides provider. Somehow, it hadn't shown up in my Inbox until today. So, the trip that became unscheduled? Well, it was "human" error. The dispatcher was changing the type of transportation so temporarily marked the trip as "waiting list" ... and then promptly FORGOT to put in the replacement vehicle. Arrgghh. Well, at least I did get an apology and the error gets noted in the employee's record. Mind you, if the weather had been anything like today, there is NO way I would have been able to travel on my own.
Anyway, I'd better think of bed and trying to remain positive and really needing to send those e-mails tomorrow. Please, universe, could I have a break?????????
