Very sleepy. And, yes, I am very, very sleepy. It's been an effort to remain upright ever since I woke up at 5:33 (ahead of the alarm) after going to bed at eek o'clock (which translates into 1:00 a.m.). But I managed to get myself out the door at 9:05 and shivered, despite the brave sun. OTOH, it was merely cold and not snowing, so that's excellent.

My arrival at church was delayed so I got in after the first service had let out. I was approached by the guy who sits at the opposite end of my pew. He asked if I was the one writing the weekly review and wanted to become FB friends with me. Aww. I also met with the refugee claimant to whom I gave two copies of the letter I'd written of support (and printed this morning). I had a bit of time so gave him an intro to some of the beliefs and traditions at MCCT,

I was on duty and it really was healing for me, enough that I was able to sing almost all of "Breathe". The music numbers today were stunning, including the music director's own arrangement of "Oh Happy Day". Simply outstanding! Ashley and I sprang the idea of having a trio brunch next Sunday. We voted for Cafe California in the Village. Happy dance!

After church, I was sitting on my corner (insert customary joke here) so long that Brent and John walked by, Brent mentioning something about me being patient to which I replied that I'd had lots of practice. Hee! Luckily, I didn't have to freeze for long as my minivan arrived to whisk me home, only to find out that SuM had locked me out of the back door. As her car was in the driveway, I just did two Sheldon knocking patterns. She was sheepish when she unlocked the door. I then retreated to what was an unexpected cat sanctuary for most of the day. Silly cats!

Worked on my summary of church and posted it after 3. Then I really wanted to get my laundry going. Brian (aka Mr. Stargate SG-1 theme) called just as I needed to remove clothes from the dryer. Good news, no laundry for Easter weekend. We had a good time talking and I acted like the big sister I am. Can't wait for our sillybration soon. Tried to watch tonight's MasterChef Canada epi, but kept nodding off. At least I've recorded it. Now I must toddle off to bed as I must wake up at 5:55 to book rides. Oh, joy (not).
