Allow me to repeat that. ????? Yup, I was crying by the time Dalton finished his second number. Not that I knew any of the music, definitely not Sia. But I was definitely touched by the emotions within the music, not to mention Dalton's own vulnerability. Just crossing my fingers for next week.
Woke up shortly before 8 with my hands in the clutches of neuropathy (yes, I just found that term and have to read up on it). Sigh, I hate it when my hands are ice cold and trembling, despite the fact that I'm wearing gloves and swaddling my forearms with my cozy wool shawl (in bed, that is). So, shaky hands = NO picture taking. Sigh.
Was surprised to see that SuM had the day off but was pleased when she mentioned she was going shopping and did I need something. Oh, yes, definitely. Well, she went out and didn't come back for ... hours. Ha! She'd bumped into a friend at the first store (where she picked up my purchase as well as a new microwave as hers died); the friend convinced her to go to Winners, even though SuM hates buying clothes. But the friend picked out like 8 outfits for her and SuM now has something to wear to an upcoming wedding. Anyway, while mum was gone, Diva spent the afternoon mostly lying above my head. Yes, silly cat.
Normally, I would have erased my recording of A.I. but I've kept this one, cued to when Dalton sings. I'm even seriously thinking of downloading the iTunes recording even though I've never done anything like that in my life. Must consult with one of my ::coughs:: younger friends, lol. Anyway, I'm going to warm up my back while I'm sitting here and then seek the embrace of fuzzy flannel ... with emphasis on trying to find the best position in which to protect my poor, poor hands.
