First of all, I enjoyed another good night's sleep (even with little weird Ce-Ce prowling around), this time deliberately under the cover of a sheet and comforter. Woke up to the alarm at 8 (in the middle of a weird dream), because I had to transcribe a satisfaction survey from my meals provider onto my computer, so I could complete it. It took me about 90 excruciating minutes. And, then, I had to hurry with brekkie, so I could be calm by 10:30 to await my meals.
It seems to be slightly cooler (how subjective) today and there was a tiny breeze as I aired out the house while I waited. And waited. And watched loads of Peppa Pig epis.
Emailed the blind group that I'll be attending bowling next week. Exchanged emails with my new friend Janet about the bowling and the book club. Sent my old chum Danny birthday greetings and she replied, all the way from Vancouver.
Sum and S. finally got back in before 3. My reign in the house is over. No more cats, no three meals a day, no refilling heavy water bowls, no more yowling and hissing (obviously not at moi), no more Ce-Ce trying to get as close to my body as possible while she's emitting super-heat. What. A. Relief. The only thing that makes me sad is that I just didn't have the energy to watch some fab movies. But, during this infernal heat wave, I only had the energy to focus on cartoons, news, and game shows.
