You can add fried to the above, as it was back to sweltering-hot today. I'm (im)patiently waiting for the promised thrunderstorms around 2 a.m.
But, in the meantime, I went through vision hell today. I was trying to do my thing for the blind group but somehow I was experiencing … uh … technical difficulties. I don't even know what I did wrong when suddenly I had 92 rejected messages. O.M.G. I think I finally got that one fixed but then another one got rejected in the afternoon. So - what - is the server having a bout of delicacy? To make things worse (things can get worse?), Ian sent me a critical email, surprised that I was releasing tangled typing. Uh … I only found ONE tiny error, so have no idea what was going on. In any case, I'm just fed up and did I say it was hot and giving up for the day. I'll face things tomorrow with fresh eyes.
Because the eyes (hey, blondie, just say eye - singular) was in bad shape today. So that didn't help. My friend Janet phoned me (yay! my beautiful ringtones work very well). She's coming to the pub night. But then she emailed me asking for personalized assistance in signing up for a couple of programs … and I'm just feeling so worn out. I'll try to help her, too, tomorrow morning.
I'm also disappointed. When SuM sent me an email about an upcoming concert (as a part of the church's homecoming weekend), I thought SHE and S. wanted to attend it … so I could have gone and had safe and swift transportation both ways. Alas, she was just informing me. Sigh. The performers would have been thrilled to see me there, considering I don't go out at night (with few exceptions).
Anyway, I need to throw this day into the trash because it's just been so unfair to me. My only downtime was watching the news and game shows and reading a tiny bit. Time to take my sinus and head pain to bed and cross my fingers. Sigh.
