Retail therapy AND celebrations planned!

I had a whirlwind of a day. Though I'd had to wake up at 6:45 to book my rides for tomorrow, I lazed during the morning until M called.

I was picked up after 1. First we stopped at McDonalds for a quickie lunch, then we were off to Sears. I hadn't realized there was a Sears at Sherway and that's where we went. [That was the birthday prezzie I'd requested from M, to take me shopping at Sherway. Well, we didn't get into the mall, but at least we looked down at the fountain from the second floor.]

Okay, so that was the retail. But I'm also so excited because M and I will be celebrating our fifth anniversary this Friday (the 11th). On the actual day itself. We don't always get the opportunity to do that. We've had so many time shifted celebrations it's not funny. So I picked up a bottle of sparkling rose (and hope the cork comes out more easily) for our celebration. Mind you, we may be eating chicken wings with that. But that's okay, because we are not your average ... something or other!

Watched AI and the results didn't surprise me. It'll be fun watching the home town segments next week.

And that's it from me for today. Tomorrow should be a lot of fun (if my ankles survive), but you'll have to wait for about 24 hours for that post.
