My weird life ... by choice.

So, even though I zonked out for hours last night, when I woke up I stayed up. All the way to 3:48 a.m. Ack. The alarm had not been changed from 7:00 a.m., so I left it as it was and – yes – it jolted me awake. After that, I fell back asleep and was really lucky to wake up around 9:20. Washed my face and carried my payment to S. who’d be waiting to receive meals on my behalf, because I had a planning conference call from 10 till noon. Just managed to heat and eat my brekkie, also portioned out my pills and poured myself a glass of juice before joining the conference call.

We’re still in early stages for the Expo scheduled for early February. As I won’t be able to offer any “physical” volunteer hours, it’s up to me to contribute in other ways. And I found one: media announcements and promos. Yup. Right up my alley. Surprisingly, we even finished early, at 11:38. After that I was catching up on last night’s TV: Murdoch Mysteries, Frankie Drake Mysteries, and Bull … I watched them all. So, Frankie’s been wearing this bold (satin?) kimono as outerwear in a couple of episodes. It’s divine to see her wearing it.

I’m having new and different kittens with my computer. My office suite keeps crashing so much, I compulsively save what I’ve typed, sometimes line by line. And last night, typing was very sluggish into DW, so I’m doing it in a word doc first, then C&P-ing it. Though the primary (yellow-on-black) colours are okay, secondary colours are all over the place. When I’m typing in a spreadsheet, what I type is invisible in a cell until I press enter. Oh, it’s not really invisible, just a very blend-into-the-background colour that I so did not choose. Sigh. But I shall persevere. ::grumbles in the background::
