Oh, the joy of having to wake up around 4 to answer the call of nature and then being able to lower the blinds, consequently not waking up until after 9 because the sun wasn't bossily beaming in. Now that's what I call a very good sleep.

So, what had been my blah moments from yesterday? Well, the dorky one was that my brand new smartphone wasn't holding its charge and was taking absolutely FOREVER to charge. *headdesk* I found out why. The plug was firmly seated in the power bar (shhh, don't tell Brian), but the cord insert wasn't fully in the plug. ::rolls eyes:: I've never had a weird cord like that. And the other thing? Well, I sent in a fanfic for the Glee contest with no luck. I'll post my story in a bit. But I also have wonderful news to share. I took those prescription NSAIDs and - DRUM ROLL PLEASE - They. Worked. Yes, I'm still in some pain, but I can actually walk. I'm just beside myself with joy. Yay!!!!!

Of course, by the time I had brekkie and did my eyedrops, the morning was gone. I wished the entire day could be gone, too, because the heat and humidity were grotesque. I just could not stop sweating. But I kept holding off on getting in the shower. I'm so glad I did because it did start raining. Oh ... heaven. It started up again a bit later. And we're supposed to have a strong storm tomorrow along with large hail. As long as it doesn't fall on me, please.

I finally sat down to do the [livejournal.com profile] sga_squee rewatch of Lifeline. I just finished posting 8 comments (yes, I was wordy, but there was lots to comment on) and still have closing thoughts. I also managed to catch up on The Glee Project whose theme was Romanticality, though it sorta, kinda, sped headlong into Sexuality. The pairings led to some unusual results. So I guess there's only 1 more epi until the finale. And then it'll be time for the fall TV season to return. ::does happy dance::

I also sent an e-mail to the person at church who's offering me the reader. I wonder if we'll meet soon. And, speaking of church, I haven't chosen my outfit or anything. It's simply too hot to even think of clothes ... and I'm running through my supply of nighties at a really fast pace. Help! I need a Trek-style replicator.

Okay, time for me and the piggies to wish everyone a tolerable good nigiht!
