So ... I'm thinking of signing up for ice skating lessons.

Keeding. I just keeding. But, hey, you may imagine me on the ice with my walker. Most amusing. So, on yet another sweltering day in the making, I was picked up at 8:20 and on my way to the blind centre. Was dropped off at 9:10, giving me loads of time to wait until the start at 10:00. I was the first to be in the room and helped advise the audio tech of our requirements. I thought the meeting would be only about the AGM but we actually had a guest speaker from the city dept of Parks, Forests, and Recreation who talked about all of the community-centre based all-ages activities that we could participate in. Including ice skating. OTOH, I could sign up for painting. But I just don't know whether I want to lock up my schedule for at least two months. Still, it's fun to imagine.

I had loads of time to wait after the meeting as my ride wasn't until 1:40. When I walked outside, the heat just blasted me. I was so relieved to be home. Finally watched last night's Murdoch Mysteries premiere. What a relief that one of my fave secondary characters hadn't been killed off. It was just a ruse. In the evening, I recorded my usual Tuesday shows, but was too out of it to watch. I'll do it tomorrow. Instead, I contributed to last week's Savage Love column ... wondering if it'll spark any furor. I guess I'll check in the morning. Now, off to bed with me and some more SF God-book reading.
