At least I didn't have to be out in what felt like MINUS 33 weather. BTW, at that point, the temp. gauges cross. So it's ridiculously cold no matter what scale you're using. But one of my wonderful church friends informed me that, by Thursday, it would be high 30s and raining. Good. Let it all melt away.
After a very strange night during which I'd wake up then fall back to sleep, quite snug in my cocoon, I finally woke up at 8:36. A very civilized time. As the swelling had subsided in the middle finger of my right hand, I was capable of writing my church service review and posted it only 24 hours later. Unfortunately, our webcast computer wasn't working, so I'd had to rewatch a really wonky long distance recording during which the sound kept cutting out. But I got it done (and apparently both Revs. Jeff and Deana liked it).
Back in bed, I caught up on the latest SNL. And I just finished watching a mostly sad epi of Murdoch Mysteries. Perhaps I'll stay up a little longer and watch Bull, too. Despite my vision problems, I would like to reassure everybody that opening a bottle of Merlot by mistake (the winery also produces the rose I drink) had nothing to do with colour perception. So I'll drink the red; it's not a tragedy. Just not my fave.

I so miss wearing my gorgeous rings (including an amazing gold, diamond and emerald one). OTOH, at least I'm glad I had my wedding rings melted down and redesigned into a beautiful pendant.
