Not quite a fortress of solitude.

Here I am, at the end of the day, battling pain. I'd already added an extra layer of comfort (aka my comforter) to the top of my bed so that I would be all warm and cozy. Because I am too stubborn to put on a pair of socks, lol.

But I was feeling invisible, having emailed both Brian and church-John without any acknowledgment. What's going on? Luckily, c-J replied to two of my messages, saying he should be able to procure my supplements and snacks on the list and agrees to having brunch on Wednesday when it will be warm and sunny. Yay.

I was also busy with blind group stuff. Just waiting for the Prez to approve something and provide me with a template. That's why it's nice not to be on the peak of the food chain. Well, except for 2IC of the book club for which I'm responsible for slotting the chosen books into the calendar. But the words are swimming in front of my face. Sigh.

As always, the pain is mercurial. After a lovely sleep of more than 8 hours, it crept up on me. Hence, the warm cocoon combined with soothing belly rubs, together with watching TV. Cartoons as always FTW.
