Ugh.
This is ridiculous.
I can understand having a headache BEFORE the rain comes (you know, barometric pressure and all that), but I was fine yesterday and all of today (cold and thunderstormy and the crickets were very chatty a couple of hours ago), so why is the universe giving me a headache? What - to go with all my other troubles (like a reverse-bonus)?

Le sigh.
Yesterday was a washout in more ways than one. Oh, yes, I was supposed to be unpacking boxes. Well, I actually unstacked them and opened them and removed the contents from one. Then I got disheartened and repacked and restacked everything. Nope, I need my manager here; otherwise, I'm just scattered.

At least I made something nice for supper. I don't often have pork chops because they're not the same as from my childhood. Hee - I was forced to take them down to the stove in the cellar to fry them up, because it took so long and was very messy. Nowadays, you go one second past done and you end up with cardboard. So, I found a baked chop recipe on the net and made them with mushroom gravy. I'll have the other one for lunch tomorrow.

And speaking of scattered, I didn't realise I still had my hair in a ponytail until I was in the shower. Focus, focus, focus.

Anyway, my headache seems to be dissipating (weird, that), so I think I'll read my book for a while. Because there's nothing on TV (no, I'm not watching the steroidlympics). At least I did watch this week's Project Runway ep, so there was some comedy relief.

Bouncing off the wall hugs,
H.
