I only had about three hours of sleep last night.
Why?
Oh, extreme spinal pain. Spasms. Probably the worst symptoms ... ever.
So, I got up because it hurt to just lie in bed.
And I seriously considered cancelling going to church for Easter because of the stupid pain.
Which would have made me very, very unhappy.
So, what did I do?
Wellllllll, I went to my purse and withdrew my bottle of Tylenol 3s. I have only six left. And I placed the bottle on my desk, next to my computer. I told myself I'd take a couple tonight and perhaps a couple on Sunday, but I would not let the pain keep me from attending church.
How many did I take?
NONE.
Yes, zero ... nada ... zip.
The bottle is still sitting next to the 'puter. But, somehow, through my determination not to have my Easter ruined (well, you know what I mean), the pain leeched away and dissipated, leaving a comforting warmth in its place.
WOW.
Indeed.
So, I am going to church and, apparently, nothing is going to stop me!
In other news, I received responses to my e-mails to my deacon and RS.
And I watched Dollhouse which I absolutely loved this week. ::scratches head:: Um, is this the same show as before? And I also watched the finale of BSG, a show I'd never watched in its current incarnation, but recorded the finale. It's a good thing that Brian had already told me almost the entire story. But, even so, I didn't need to know the background stuff as long as I felt the emotions. And I did.
Also on my schedule was a long nap. I only woke up now to post and to recharge my cellphone.
So, I'll wish everybody a happy Sunday, however you spend it. Me - you know I'm getting dressed in something pretty and going to church. I'll just slip the bottle of pills into my purse. Capped at six.
