I'd like a secure source, plz.

Of course, I would have more electricity-related problems today.

Some time during the night the hall light came on. I didn't pay any attention to it until 4, when I finally got up. More arrgghh. I wanted to putter on the 'puter. Um, no? Why? Because my modem went off-line. And, then, like magic, everything was okay again. So I could get connected to people and stuff. I watched most of last week's service (I skipped the sermon, because I couldn't face crying that much again).

I didn't crawl in the shower until 6:30. I was not amused to see how quickly the hot water had run out last night. I got ready for church, having to wear my winter coat and my scarf (rain expected). My driver delivered me directly and I showed up a minute after my new sis, RS. We had a great time, giggling and exchanging all sorts of news. Unfortunately the movie she wants to see this week is not playing at a convenient location, so maybe we'll do it next week. Brent was on vacation, so two women shared the sermon/lesson. They used so many words I've used to describe my life, that I'm going to send them an e-mail. The soloist was one of my faves who is an incredible jazz singer. I hadn't seen her for ... ever, so we gave each other a huge hug.

I couldn't wait to get home, what with last night's power disruptions (I estimated the power came back on around 2:00 a.m.). I had some more rye bread and tongue for lunch. Then, when I turned the 'puter on, I had connectivity for a minute and then ... modem disconnect. Again with the Arrgghh. According to the troubleshooting guide, I checked the TV cable signal. None to my 'puter, none to my TV. Okay, so there's a correlation. I kept pulling up the TV in a window until it finally came back to life. As did my modem. Okay, not breathing. I don't want to upset ... anything.

I've been reading LJ since my connectivity was restored and my eye hurts a lot. Well, in a little while, I can have a ridiculously tiny amount of relief from the eyedrops. At least I'm sure I'll sleep like a baby tonight. With the help of all my piggies, of course.
