But the plans still got drowned in a deluge of paaaaaaaaain. Especially my left ring finger. Way to get noticed.
So I did nothing all day long. Watched tv shows. I was happy with the way the final 3 are in Project Runway. Watched a couple more N.C.I.S., not to mention last week's rerun of Castle. I know: just how boring is my life when I will willingly watch a rerun.
I received an e-mail of thanks for the mini-bio I wrote for the man who died. Okay, so that was nice. I went back and forth with Brian regarding my naughty 'puter (yes, you, Liblikas) that is not allowing me to spellcheck. He tried to offer remote advice. I tried to install a Canadian dictionary (well, of course it would be Canadian, eh?) but Liblikas wouldn't accept it. Le sigh. Which means I did only a wee bit of writing on my McDex. It's frustrating when I have to abandon catching my typos. I also phoned John to ask his advice in a delicate matter. Hee - I got good advice, all right.
I've spent more time excavating my cupboards and freezer. Shhhh. We won't mention that I found some really old chips. And then I ate delightful mango chunks. Oh, also one of those fibre rich veggie packs (with edamame and brocolli florets). John joked that, while I'm clearing out my cupboards, my food bill will shrink dramatically.
Okay, I think I need to watch some more Castle and/or N.C.I.S. Let the investigations begin!
