Movies as time-wasters.

So, in the interest of paring down ALL of my possessions, a bit at a time, I've been re-watching (or just actually watching for the first time) DVDs.

Here's the list so far:
The Princess Diaries (Julie Andrews looks just fabulous)
Spaceballs (wow, that certainly lost its rollicking magic touch decades ago)
Monster-in-Law (Jane Fonda has aged very well)
Scooby-Doo and S-D2 (the original was a prezzie from an ex and yet we never watched it)
Simply Irresistible (awwwwww, food and love)
Miss Congeniality 2 (nowhere near as good as the original)
Nanny McPhee (lovely and charming)
The Terminal (so, I ask you, is Tom Hanks the male version of Meryl Streep?)
Legally Blonde and LB2 (very disappointed by the sequel)

Stargate, Ultimate Edition (oh ... the music and pyramids and ... James Spader, yummmm and there is NO way I'm parting with this one)
Last Holiday (also too much of a mood-lifter for me to want to give it away; Queen Latifah is simply enchanting in her character's own sweet way; plus Depardieu as a chef is perfect casting)

Okay, so 11 to go to the Thrift Store ... and a bajillion still to go through. My eyes ... oh, my poor eyes.
