Well, for one thing, I only needed ONE nap taken in the evening. And the pain is ... at tolerable levels. So, that's progress.

The power decided to go out at 10:14 a.m. (all on its own, because the universe didn't check in with moi, obviously) so, without the internet (insert suitable sounds of distress), I went to bed with my phone and played games on it until 11:04. Okay, that's enough discomfort for the day.

The temperatures are starting to ease up into daytime semi-misery for me, but at least the nighttime temps will continue to be on the cool side, so I suppose I'll survive. I wonder if Brian is surviving his (mostly) annual trip to adult camp in Haliburton. It's so weird to know he's still in the same province, but as Ontario is so huge, their weather patterns are vastly different. He was a smart cookie and took an electric blankie with him this year. And lots of pretend-to-make-you-warm dwinkies. He texted me yesterday and talked about the rain and cold which, of course, we had none of. I texted him back, but haven't heard any more details. ::pouts:: Hey, he's supposed to keep me in the loop. He said he'd try to text me some piccies, too. The last time I was at the camp was 2003. ::iz sad 'cuz there's no way I could manage to navigate the hills any more:: At least I do have mostly good memories of the place. And the food.... ::moans in a good way::

Anyway, I'm going to read for a bit to see how everybody else is faring. Nighty-night, all.
