I couldn't believe it. I took the two small gulps that equalled two teaspoons. Most cough syrups simply pour out of the bottle, but this one was thicker and slow-moving. And it tasted gross. But imagine my surprise to wake up at 7:30 and only then get congested again. I'd had a full night of peace. I've also only had one dose during the day but will take another just before bed. It's even helped with the nasal congestion. Worth. Every. Penny!!!

I don't know if my vivid dream was from the cough syrup but it was a doozy. It turns out I was a member of the Royal Family. I was a nice person, very concerned about animal cruelty. Somehow or other, I'd brought some mistreated horses into the main stables. Then, I bumped into the not-so-nice Royals. Let's call them (completely made-up names, I assure you) Beatrice, Eugenie and ... Catherine. Their horse-drawn carriage had just arrived and they were treating me like Cinderella. Well, I could stand that, because I didn't care what they thought. But then they threatened to let their horses loose in the part of the stables where the rescued horses were being treated. And then I woke up. I guess I was just in a horsey mood this morning. Or under the influence of amazing ... cough syrup.

I completed my SGA rewatch experience by adding two summary posts about all the dichotomies in the episode. I really enjoyed my analysis. And I finally managed to move two large boxes out of the bedroom. They contain (AFAICR) recycling and shredding. Um ... I can't remember which was which, so I'll have to go through both. ::sighs:: I also found I have trouble walking between the rooms while carrying stuff. ::sighs much longer:: Hey, body. Yes, you. It's always something, isn't it? Alas, my body pleads ignorance. Yeah ... sure.

Other than that, I bored myself. I did send Brian a silly text about "Susan", the microwave. He says I have a good imagination ... as if that were a revelation to either of us. Snorfle. I even spent a wee bit of time in bed, though couldn't nap because the old cellphone was recharging. For some strange reason, the girl cats were misbehaving mightily. I think they finally tired themselves out. And I had a frustrating time trying to find my sock puller. It's not as if I hadn't used it since ... yesterday. Oy. I finally found it by its straps, so I'll be able to get dressed in the morning. Good thing, that. Anyway, my fingers are screaming at me, so I should sign off and join the sleep-piggies. Nighty-night from a ::crosses fingers:: coughless Helenka. Yay!
