Oh, you mean there's no plug-in for that? Sadness. Or impotent rage which is what happened last night as I tried to fall asleep. But I couldn't breathe and was coughing. Finally I got a few hours in before I had to drag myself out of bed at 6. ::groans:: I threw on my stained-glass satin top and stuck a red flower in my hair, trying to make myself look alive. Surprisingly, I was okay when I got to church. And I was positively ON when it came to being on duty. Picked out the perfect words from Brent's sermon for my communion prayer. And, speaking of prayer, church-John always mock-mocks me when I go join my team in the chapel at 10:45, saying I don't need to beg God for anything; but I still go. Today he poked me in the arm (ouch!) during Brent's sermon when he made a similar point. But I got the last laugh when John was directed to ME for the anointing prayer. What was that you were saying, John? Hmmmm? Well, we had a good giggle over it after the service.

It was an absolutely gorgeous and sunny fall day which I got to experience because my cab was late But I was dropped off at home very quickly. I had a quickie lunch of rye toast, eggs and cheese and then hit the bed. I didn't set the alarm but just dozed off, trying to make up for last night's deprivation. Even though I still couldn't breathe, somehow (it's a mystery) I managed to unclog my passages. Note to self: Self, your body is weird. I watched the S3 final epi of Glee just to close off my summer rewatch. Brian and I have been texting each other back and forth. The sound of whistles (my chosen audio notification) was non-stop. So, you know it doesn't make any sense for Linux to be switching back and forth between time zones, right? So WHY does it continue to mock me? Another thing for Brian to look into. I was feeling a bit chilled, so warmed up with yummy Mulligatawny soup. There's nothing to read, not here, not on SLOG so I think I'm headed off to bed early. ::crosses fingers for a restful experience::
